 Michael C. Riddle Michael C. Riddle began his practice of law as a gift and estate tax attorney for the Internal Revenue Service. He graduated from the University of Houston Law School in 1972 and in 1991 became board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Estate Planning and Probate. Mike Riddle has been a guest speaker for the White House Conference on Aging and he spoke before the International Association of Financial Planners in Washington, D.C. He is one of the managing partners of Riddle & Brazil, LLP and has been practicing law in the FM 1960 area for almost 30 years. He is the Parlamentarian of the Harris County Republican Party. Mike has three grown children and lives in the Tomball area. He attends Champion Forest Baptist Church, where he serves as a Sunday school teacher. Mike is married to Texas State Representative Debbie Riddle.

 Scott Brazil Scott Brazil is dual board certified in Civil Trial Law and Personal Injury Trial Law. He graduated from South Texas College of Law in 1984. During law school, Scott was a staff member for the Law Journal. After law school, Scott served as briefing attorney for Justice Bill Cannon in the 14th Court of Appeals. Scott specializes in the representation of individuals, partnerships, and businesses in serious civil litigation matters. He has been admitted to practice before the US Court of Appeals, 5th Circuit, US Western District, Southern District, and Northern District of Texas. As a father of three children, Scott enjoys coaching soccer, hunting, tennis, and attending church with his family at John Wesley United Methodist Church.

 Christine Butts Christine Butts is a 1993 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where she obtained her BBA in International Business and Finance. In 1996, she graduated from the University of Houston Law School. Christine is Board Certified in Probate and Estate Planning by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. As a law student, Christine was publishing editor of the Houston Journal of International Law. Christine limits her practice of law to the following areas: probate, estate and gift tax planning, business entities, and charitable organizations. She is the firm's webmaster and manages the firm's estate administration department. Christine and her husband, Donald Butts, have four children and attend Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, where she has served as a faith formation teacher.

 Karen Akiens Karen Akiens received her JD and MBA in May 1997, her Master of Law in Tax (LLM) in May 1998 and her Estate Planning Certificate in January 1999 from Temple University School of Law and School of Business in Philadelphia. Karen is Board Certified in Probate and Estate Planning by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She practiced as an attorney in Philadelphia before moving to Houston in 1999. Karen is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Texas. She limits her practice to the following areas: estate and gift tax, business planning and taxation, asset protection, and estate administration. From 1983 to 1987, Karen served in the US Navy as an air crewman and jet mechanic. She received an Honorable Discharge and a Cold War Recognition Certificate. Karen is married and has two children.

 Chad W. Dunn
Chad W. Dunn received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his law degree from South Texas College of Law. Chad serves as General Counsel for the Texas Democratic Party in addition to his practice with Riddle & Brazil. Before joining the firm, Chad worked in Washington, D.C. for U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison and later as a policy advisor to Texas State Representative Dawnna Dukes and Texas State Senator Rodney Ellis. Most recently, Chad was with the firm O'Quinn, Laminack & Pirtle where he worked on large personal injury cases and election matters. Chad prepared briefs for Courts of Appeals and the Texas Supreme Court. During law school, he received several awards for moot court competition including Best Speaker. Chad was named a "Lawyer of the Fast Track" by the H Texas Magazine in 2004 and is listed as a "Rising Star" litigator in the 2006 listings by Texas Monthly. Chad lives with his wife Shea in the Houston Heights. He focuses his practice on business and personal injury litigation.

 Harold A. Chamberlain Harold "Hank" A. Chamberlain is of counsel to Riddle & Brazil, LLP. He was a trial attorney with the Regional Counsel's Office, Internal Revenue Service, Dallas Region (1957-1961) and a senior trial attorney, United States Department of Justice, Tax Division, Southern Trial Unit, Washington, D.C. (1961-1963). In 1963, he became the founding and managing partner of Chamberlain & Hrdlicka, a tax litigation boutique firm specializing in every phase of federal income, estate and gift, excise, and foreign and domestic tax litigation and planning, which evolved into a full service, business practice firm. Under his 25 years of managing the firm, Chamberlain & Hrdlicka grew from a one man office to a firm with 96 attorneys and 210 employees. In 1988, Hank sold his practice to the partnership and became a sole practitioner.
